The pony club tests are core to the ethos of the pony club- from the E test to the A test. They are arranged to be taken in a structured way. They aim to sequentially build on your knowledge not only in riding but in pony care and horsemanship.

E Test A nice simple test aimed at our youngest members and involves just walk and trot. Age: 4 +

D Test This test is also at walk and trot but a little more balance is needed. Age: 8+

D+ Test This includes walk trot and canter, a small jump and hopes to show some simple elements of the rider caring for their own pony Age: 10+

Road Rider Achievement Badge This is needed before the C test certificate can be awarded

C Test This test involves a more secure seat, a small course of jumps and the pony care is more complex Age: 11+

C+ Test This involves all paces, riding cross country and some more complex flatwork, and builds on the care of the C test knowledge Age: 13+
